homesweethomicide13 asked: Yeah, LOTR cosplayers are rare, which is a little sad :( I've been going to conventions for two years now and I've only seen four LOTR cosplayers - a generic Ranger, a generic Hobbit, a Gandalf and a Witch King. They were all awesome, but it saddens me that there are so few of us. Hence the gathering of cosplayers for next year~ We shall remind everyone of the awesomeness of LOTR!

My advice would be to pick a character you feel you'd enjoy being, because no matter how much you love a character, if you can't have fun in the cosplay then it's missing half the point~ ;D

Like, another personal one. I have one already but I want one where I get to blog a shitload of LOTR stuff without confusing a bunch of already confused bandom/Doctor Who/Sherlock/Merlin/Harry Potter followers.
I’ve been considering doing the exact same thing! No one on my personal really cares much for LOTR and they get aggravated when I spam blog it all the time....
